Come on, Mainstream Media!

it has been sickening to read the most recently leaked documents by faithleaks.

it makes me so angry because so many of us have experienced first hand the horrible policies of the watchtower on abuse.

i feel like these documents are finally the smoking gun we have all been hoping to expose the watchtower, and so far, the only mainstream news that i have seen pick it up is newsweek.. what will it take for the mainstream media pick this up and give it the attention it deserves?

here in the UK mr & mrs joe public couldnt give a sh*t about jw's---so probably wouldnt read any news articles about them

so that leaves the jw's----who wouldnt read such apostate lies

and us ex jw's. so a readership of a few hundred at most.

this is the circuit assembly hall i attended since childhood.

if you're a jw and you grew up in liverpool, lancashire or manchester then this is the hall you attended.

when i was little i remember the decor inside being red and cream coloured.

some of my old jw friends are sickly and getting on in age.

so far, i’ve only gone to my mother’s memorial and have avoided the kingdom hall altogether.... your thoughts please?.

no.

when my father died--2 years ago, there were no funeral instructions in his will. i arranged a simple no service cremation. i attended--with 2 other ex jw friends--and a couple of the ladies who looked after him in the care home.

no one else came---but then i didnt notify his congregation anyway.

Kingdom Hall ... BURGER KING?

i live in a very rural part of the northeastern united states.

after 9 years of waiting, the local witnesses are getting their new kingdom hall.

it is being built on a back road next to a sandpit.

An Active JW Sister Modelling For Me

since leaving the borg i jumped both feet first into classes i've always wanted to do but was never "allowed" to.

two of which are life drawing and photography.

i've been studying for almost two years now and have seen more nude men and women in our classes than i care to remember.. today in the photography studio i was working in with three others (two women, one man) we were told we had a new person modelling for us.

just thinking----maybe she did know who you are---and it made it more of a challenge for her. as she had a lovely figure--why not get in contact with her--? nothing to lose.

i remember in my late teens--out knocking with another young pioneer---an afro-carribean woman answered--listened for a minute--then said---" you wan som baahti ?"
